Hardaway coach Kendall Mills knew the competition would be a notch higher in the postseason, so he turned up the intensity of his team’s practices.

The Hawks coach began including some elements of the P90X workout system in the team’s daily regimen a few weeks ago, and it looked like it made a difference Thursday as Hardaway swept Lithia Springs 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 in a first-round playoff match in its home gym.

“That’s why we were jumping so high and had the extra endurance,” Mills said. “They didn’t like it at first, but it paid off for them.”

Kellan Lutz of twilight uses p90x to stay fit.

Being a sex-symbol is nothing new to Kellan Lutz, a former Abercrombie and Fitch model and now-famous actor for playing "Emmet Cullen" in the Twilight series. 

Like his Twilight counterparts Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, Kellan Lutz is no stranger to the weight room and knows how to crank out a workout that cranks up muscle mass.

The 24-year-old, North Dakota native was recently spotted sharing his workout body with Vancouver onlookers while he hit the gym over the weekend.

The star has bragged in the past comparing his eight-pack of abs to costar Taylor Lautner's.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Lutz explained how he scored his washboard abs.More...

Training With 5 Exercise Heart Rate Training Zones

You may think that training is just for athletes. I absolutely believe that with few exceptions everyone can train to create change which leads to a good healthy life. Exercise is as different for everyone as Training With 5 Exercise Heart Rate Zones change is different.

Whether you want to change by shedding a few pounds or you just want to feel good about yourself, then here's a way that, if you follow it, you may end up on the wellness road to a new life.

What I'm talking about is Heart Zone Training, the best approach to all-around fitness I've found. This isn't a one-size-fits-all concept. It works for a 50-year-old athlete like me, a 60-year old with a family history of heart problems, a 70-year old wanting to improve strength, or an 80-year old who wants to climb to the third floor of a building without puffing. It works for a 20-year-old who wants to get fitter, a 30-year-old who has become more sedentary from too much time in front of a computer, and a 40-year-old who is preparing for a second wedding ceremony and wants to be their best.
